Following rapid recent growth we are now looking to recruit an experienced HR Consultant to provide a full HR service to clients and continue the growth and development of the business. The position will be based in our Bishop’s Stortford office with frequent travel around Hertfordshire, Essex and London.
The role will involve developing relationships with both existing and new clients by identifying their needs and delivering the appropriate solutions. You will identify new opportunities to build the business and broaden the client base. You will ensure that client expectations are met and satisfaction is 100%. You will also produce articles, blogs and newsletters as well as posts on our social media platforms.
With your generalist HR background you will be responsible for drafting tailored contracts, staff handbooks and policies and provide advice and assistance on policies, procedures and employment legislation. You will provide onsite and telephone support relating to disciplinary and grievance investigations and assist clients in providing solutions to workplace relations and performance management issues.
The successful candidate for this role will ideally be CIPD Level 5 qualified and have 4-5 years’ experience as an HR Advisor and/or HR consultant. You will ideally have had some involvement/experience in more strategic HR, e.g. supporting in-house HR projects going beyond the day-to-day operational HR support. Experience across more than one sector and/or previous consultancy experience would be advantageous.
You will have the ability or an interest in developing networking skills and be flexible and adaptable to client needs. You must have a clean, full driving licence and be able to attend networking events outside of working hours. You will also require a high attention to detail, be commercially focused and be able to deliver excellent customer service.
